At Newmatik, our truly international team is the foundation of our success. With our headquarters and main factory located in Germany, we are perfectly positioned to serve both the German-speaking and wider European markets. Our factory in Romania, at the heart of Eastern Europe’s booming economy, further extends our reach. Together, our team of over 100 professionals—representing more than a dozen nationalities—delivers full-service customer support in both English and German.

In today’s globalized world, geography is no longer a barrier to building a great team. At Newmatik, we believe in hiring the best talent for the job, regardless of where they live. That’s why we’ve invested in developing the online tools, workflows, and supply chain necessary to support a highly skilled remote workforce.

Over the past five years, we’ve expanded our team to include an international network of remote software engineers, project engineers, and quote specialists. With a seamless mix of on-premise and virtual offices, someone from Newmatik is always working—ensuring around-the-clock service for our global customer base.

Newmatik remains a family-owned company, guided by co-CEOs Dominik and Björn Ottenbreit. As the second generation of leadership, Dominik and Björn continue to drive the company’s growth and innovation. Dominik, a computer scientist by education, is the visionary behind Newmatik’s fully digital experience, while Björn leads our technical operations, focusing on machine optimization, production efficiency, and custom-built factory solutions.

Supporting them is Ingrid Ottenbreit, who co-founded the company with her husband Ambrosius in 1990 and now oversees financial controlling. Carly Ottenbreit rounds out the leadership team, managing the procurement of electronic components and PCBs from our extensive supply chain across Europe, the Americas, and East Asia.
